7. What documents do you need to submit for your Master’s Degree: Plan II, Comprehensive Exam/Coursework Option?

If you are a Master's student receiving your degree through Plan II (Comprehensive Exam) option, you do not need to submit any paperwork to University Archives.

Required Forms (OGS)

Graduate Student Diploma and Commencement Form
The information you enter on the Diploma and Commencement form is used for your entry in the commencement program and for completion of your diploma.

Optional Forms (OGS)

Degree Certification Request Form
The Degree Certification Request form is used to request an official letter from UCI's Graduate Dean certifying that you have completed all of your degree requirements. If you wish to receive a Degree Certification letter, please complete the Request form and submit it to your home department. When you submit it, ask your home department to attach the Request form to the completed Application for Advancement to Candidacy/Final Report for the Master's Degree form, and have them forward both forms to the Office of Graduate Studies (120 Administration: Attn: Mercedes Martin).
