Dear Campus Personnel Officers and Staff:
The following staff training workshops have been cancelled due to recent modifications in the Payroll/Personnel System Releases required for the implementation of the additional phases of the Postdoctoral Scholar--Employee title transition and additional benefit information.

The actual implementation of the Postdoctoral Scholar--Employee title code 3252 and the new Postdoctoral Scholar Benefits Plan (PSBP) will proceed as originally scheduled, to be effective January 1, 2005.
However, in order to provide you with the most complete information, we are cancelling the training sessions for next week. Additional information regarding both the title transition and insurance processes will be distributed by the Offices of Academic Personnel and Research and Graduate Studies within the next few weeks.
In addition, we will be scheduling a future session in early December where staff from the participating offices will be available to advise on issues and answer questions regarding the implementation of the transition process. You will be notified when this session is scheduled.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the change in schedule. We have distributed this notice to all individuals originally invited to next week's training sessions, but ask your help in sharing this information with appropriate co-workers.
