General Campus Deadlines
Most UCI graduate programs adhere to the general campus deadline of January 15 for submission of completed applications (including payment of the application fee) for entry the following fall* quarter. However, some programs have earlier or later deadlines, and, further, some programs are more rigid than others in enforcing their deadline (see table below). If you are in doubt about a deadline, please contact a representative of the program of interest.
Regardless of the application deadline, typically a graduate application must be submitted by January 15 to be eligible for a graduate fellowship, or a research or teaching assistantship.
Please review the table below for a list of programs having application/fellowship deadlines that deviate from the campus norm of January 15, or that strictly enforce the January 15 deadline.

Late Applications:
Please note that late applications will be considered on a space-available basis only. Fellowship and other financial support will depend upon availability of funds. Most fellowship funding is offered early, and not available for late applicants.
*Fall quarter begins in September. With the exception of the UCI Internship Credential program, which admits students for the spring term, most graduate programs at UCI admit new students for fall quarter entry only.
