The Graduate Division office will be CLOSED on Friday, April 4, 2008 and Monday, April 7, 2008, as we relocate to temporary offices during the renovation of the 120 Aldrich Hall suite.
The Graduate Division will re-open on Tuesday, April 8 in the following locations:
3800 Berkeley Place for Admissions, Enrolled Services, Employment, Fellowships, and Recruitment/Diversity
Fifth Floor, Social Science Tower for Finance and Communications

Many clinical, basic science, and other academic departments at UCI offer research training to individuals as postdoctoral scholars. These trainees are recent recipients (within the last 10 years) of the Ph.D., or a professional doctorate, and come for further training in research under the direction of a faculty member. Postdoctoral scholars play a dual role as fellows engaged in mentored advanced training and as employees or fellows contributing to UCI's research programs.
