The Office of Graduate Studies new website design offers an enhanced navigation system to allow for a much easier and friendly user experience. Primary section links are found across the top of the page beneath the section banner (
Prospective Students,
Current Students,
Post-docs,
Alumni & Friends,
Faculty & Staff) and offer a multi-layered drop-down menu with priority topics of concern to the specified audience.
Secondary section links are found in the upper right corner, including Academic Programs, Diversity Programs, New Admits, News & Events, Contact Us and the Site Map.
In addition to these, each section has a dedicated space for "Quick Links" on the left-hand panel where subtopics are are listed for efficiency and ease of use.
OGS' search engine is powered by Google and is available on all pages throughout the site beneath the "Quick Links" panel on the left side of the page. The search tool restricts the user's search to the area of Research and Graduate Studies (RGS) only, thereby making certain to find only those pages relevant within RGS to the keywords entered in the search field.
