Newly Admitted Students

Welcome to the University of California Irvine! This is the beginning of a new and exciting time in your life and especially your educational career. We are delighted that you chose UCI to pursue your scholarly work. We want your graduate career to be a successful and rewarding one.
This site has been especially created for you to provide you with one-stop access to all the necessary information needed for a smooth and successful entry to UCI. Please give the following steps your serious attention prior to your arrival and it will save you hours of time over waiting until your arrival on campus before attending to these important matters. Things to Do
(Once You've Been Admitted):

  1. Complete the Statement of Intent to Register online.
  2. Complete and submit the Graduate Student Housing Application.
  3. Complete and submit the Financial Support Application (FAFSA).
  4. Complete and submit the Statement of Legal Residence form with UCI's Office of the Registrar.
  5. Fellowship Acceptance
  6. Meet the conditions of your Provisional Admission.
  7. Activate your UCInetID and take a picture for your Student I.D. card.
  8. Enroll in classes and pay fees.
  9. Learn about Graduate Student Health Insurance - GSHIP
  10. Explore Student Life and Campus Resources here at UCI along with your Student Rights & Responsibilities.
